Yes, we're still alive. Was anyone wondering?

Okay, so I've been MIA for over 2 months now and I figured it would probably be a good thing to post something to let people know that I am still alive. Here are some pictures from Jalyn's "photo shoot" tonight.









We had a great Christmas. Jerry took 2 weeks off to spend at home with us and that was awesome! We all did end up getting sick last week though. Jerry was supposed to go back to work last Monday but ended up not going back until yesterday. We were all really sickly with the flu/sinus infection/bronchitis. It was lovely...NOT!

Yesterday, we took advantage of all the beautiful snow God gave us and played in it. Here are some pictures from that.
Walking through the snow is a really good workout by the way! By the time we got back in the house, I was drenched in sweat and I felt like I had just worked out really hard. We had fun though. Too bad the snow wasn't good packing snow to make a snowman.

Well, another winter is here and that means that working on the house has come to a stop. Yes, there are things that can be worked on inside, but is that happening? Of course not. It's so easy to be lazy. After Jerry being at work all day, the last thing he wants to do is come home to work too. And the last thing I want him to do is work. I want him to spend time with us. It's so hard! As I look around at what we do have though, I am speechless. I am so thankful for everything we do have. Sometimes I feel I do not deserve it all. Especially such a beautiful, healthy little girl that takes my breath away everyday. I can't believe she is going to be 3 next month!!! Where does the time go????

I hope this post finds everyone doing well. Hopefully it won't be another 2 months before I post again.

Jimmy and Emily's new home...

Jimmy and Emily got a new apartment and moved in last night. They are both so excited about it! Even Archie has his own place now!! :) This is Emily showing off her Spiderman bathroom. And this is her HUGE closet. This closet is the size of her old apartment. She's in love. :) Here is Jalyn sporting Aunt Laura's scrubs.

Amazing Moon

Did anyone see the moon last night as it was rising around 8:45pm? It was incredible! I wish I was able to get a picture of it to show you, but I'm sure the picture would not have done it justice. It was gigantic for one thing, but it was really really dark orange. It was actually kind of creepy but at the same time amazing. I hope you got to witness it.

Our family trip to Georgia

One week ago today we ventured off on our long road trip to Georgia to see Joel for the long holiday weekend. Laura, mom, dad, Jalyn, Jerry and I with all of our luggage and 2 golf bags to top it all off were stuffed into our 6 passenger Pacifica. I seriously thought the back hatch door was going to explode open and fall onto the highway, but it didn't. Thank goodness.
